The Africa Scholarship Programme (ASP) offers talented and motivated students from Africa the unique opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at Wageningen University and to support capacity building in Africa.
The International Ambassador Scholarship rewards academically talented undergraduate students who are citizens and residents of countries other than the United States. Eligible first-year and transfer students who have applied and been accepted for undergraduate admission to Michigan Tech are automatically considered for this award.
ELIGIBILITY:
Undergraduate students with *GPA based on a 4.0 scale.
Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 at the end of each spring semester. Continuous, regular full-time undergraduate enrollment (12 credits or more) and acceptable social behavior must also be maintained.
Students eligible for the Alumni Legacy Award or Military Family Education Award are not eligible for the International Ambassador Scholarship. Students receiving the National Business Scholars Award are also not eligible to receive an International Ambassador Scholarship.
Eligible students are considered for awards ranging from $11,000 up to $14,300 per year based on academic achievement. These awards are renewable for four years (8 semesters) of study. New students will be considered for the International Ambassador Scholarship based on their GPA:
