QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY BELFAST INTERNATIONAL OFFICE UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPQUEEN’S UNIVERSITY BELFAST

LOCATION: Northern Ireland

This award is exclusively for new international students who are beginning their first year of full-time undergraduate study in Queen’s University Belfast in the academic year 2024/25 and meet the conditions of their academic offer. 

ELIGIBILITY:

The International Office Undergraduate Scholarship is exclusively for new international students.

Students must hold an offer for a place on a full-time undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year 2024/25 and prior to commencement of study have met any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter. Exclusions apply – see point 10 below

Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate in order to be considered for this discount. Students paying NI or GB fees are not eligible for the International Office Undergraduate Scholarship.

If you wish to defer your entry to the University your scholarship will not be transferred. However, you will be automatically assessed if you chose to defer your entry until 2025/26.

Students must be self-funded.

GOVERNMENT OF IRELAND POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme is an established national initiative, funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, and managed by the Council.

ELIGIBILITY:

Potential applicants should read the call documentation carefully to ascertain whether or not they are eligible to apply. Indicative versions of the applicant and supervisor forms are provided for information purposes only. BENEFIT:

The value of the scholarship will be up to a maximum of €28,000 per annum in any approved year and will consist of the following:

a stipend of €19,000 per annum;

a contribution to fees, including non-EU fees, up to a maximum of €5,750 per annum; and

eligible direct research expenses of €3,250 per annum.
