13TH KOCHI INTERNATIONAL TRIENNIAL EXHIBITION OF PRINTS

Application Details: Wednesday April 1st – Saturday, April 25th, 2026

LOCATION: Japan

The Kochi international triennial exhibition of prints began in 1990, with the hope of creating magnificent print works using Tosa washi paper and further developing both washi and printmaking cultures.

As its name suggests, this exhibition is held once every three years.
With each iteration, high-quality works from around the world gather, making it an internationally acclaimed exhibition.

Since the exhibition is hosted in Kochi, a world-class producer of Japanese traditional paper, artwork submissions are limited to those that use paper as the primary material.

Eligible works: Submissions must be original 2D prints on PAPER produced after 2024.

Exclusions: Works created wholly or partially using generative AI (including both image and text generation) are ineligible.

Size: The paper size must not exceed 100 x 100 cm (40 x 40 inches).

Number of entries: Artists may submit a maximum of three works.
