SHINHAN POSTCARD ART CONTEST

The ShinHan Postcard Art Contest is a space where young artists can experience the value of making art by hand in a digital age. This contest invites young artists to rediscover the postcard as an analogue format and to express their ideas, feelings, and imagination through drawing and painting. Each official postcard features a new design inspired by the theme of the contest and is made on paper suitable for painting.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to art lovers worldwide, ages 4 to 18

Entry is FREE

Artwork Criteria:

Interpret the theme freely in your own way.
Only one artwork may be submitted per person.
Artwork size must be within 14.7 cm × 10 cm (5.78 in × 3.93 in).
Fine art paint should be used as the main medium. Other media may be used partially.
Artwork must be two-dimensional and created using oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, pastels, or a combination of these media.

Application Steps:
Step 1. Create a high-resolution image of your artwork by scanning it or taking a clear photograph.
Step 2. On the “Submit Your Entry” page, click the red “Submit Your Entry” button at the bottom of the page.
Step 3. On the “Terms and Conditions” page, read the terms and click “Continue.”
Step 4. Complete all required fields and upload your artwork before clicking “Submit.”
Step 5. Click the black “Submit” button at the bottom of the page to complete your entry.
Step 6. If needed, you may sign in later to edit your submission on the “Edit Your Submission” page.

The Global Korea Scholarship 2026 offers international students an opportunity to pursue higher education in South Korea at some of the country’s top universities. This scholarship supports a wide range of academic fields, giving applicants flexibility in choosing their area of study.

ELIGIBILITY:

Nationality: The applicant and both parents must hold non-Korean citizenship.

Age: Must be under 40 years of age.

Level of Education: Must have graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

All applicants must have obtained the required degree or must be expected to graduate by July 31, 2026

GPA: Must have an average GPA of at least 80% from the most recent academic program.

Method of Application:

Embassy Track: Applicants usually submit their application through the official Study in Korea system by creating an account, completing the application form, and uploading all required documents. After the first screening, shortlisted candidates may need to submit original or embassy-verified documents.

All academic fields offered by GKS-participating universities are eligible for application. 

University Track: Applicants submit their documents directly to GKS-designated universities, typically by post or in person, depending on each university’s instructions and deadlines.

BENEFIT:

The Global Korea Scholarship covers tuition fees, round-trip airfare, living expenses, health insurance, and research-related support.
