YALE JACKSON SCHOOL OF GLOBAL AFFAIRS PEACE FELLOWSHIP (FULLY FUNDED)

The Peace Fellowship program brings together rising leaders dedicated to conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and post-conflict reconciliation. The Yale Peace Fellowship, hosted by the International Leadership Center (ILC) at Yale University, brings together 16 rising leaders each year who are working on the frontlines of conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and post-conflict reconciliation.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants should:

Be accomplished in the field of peace and reconciliation

Have a track record of strong leadership and a drive to grow professionally.

Demonstrate commitment to cross-cultural understanding.

Be fluent in English.

Peace Fellows must be available to fully participate in all parts of the program, including in-person for two weeks of the program: a week-long international study trip (February 1-5, 2026) and a convening on Yale University’s campus in New Haven (April 13-17, 2026).

The application process for admission to the Peace Fellows Program is done entirely online. There are no paper forms to complete or mail. There is no application fee or other cost to apply or participate. All costs for travel, lodging, food, etc. associated with the program will be covered.

Prior to the deadline, you may work on your application at any time and submit it when you are ready. After creating an account and accessing the online application, you can upload materials and request your letters of recommendation. Applicants are required to submit a résumé/curriculum vitae (maximum three pages), a brief video statement, a personal statement (maximum 600 words), and one letter of recommendation.

Admission is highly competitive. Each cohort of fellows is geographically balanced and represents a wide range of professions, talents, experiences, cultures, people, and perspectives.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2026 Yale Peace Fellowship. The application deadline for the 2026 program is September 2, 2025, at 14:00 pm.

AAUW INTERNATIONAL PROJECT GRANTS

Application Deadline: November 15, 2024

LOCATION: USA

International Project Grants support community-based initiatives that advance gender equity for women and girls and that are led by AAUW International Fellowship Alumnae. These grants equip and empower alumnae to do so within the context of their home countries and communities by making funding available to them in order to apply their academic expertise and leadership skills in a way that has a direct, positive impact on women and girls.

ELIGIBILITY:

International Project Grants are awarded exclusively to individuals.

Applicants must be or identify as a woman

Applicants must be an AAUW International Fellowship alumna and have successfully completed the academic program for which they received a fellowship and all related reporting requirements by June 30th of the year of application.

Applicants must reside and implement the proposed project in their home country for the duration of the grant period.

Applicants must be the primary project director, with control over all programmatic, budgetary, administrative and editorial decisions.

Grant recipients must be non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

BENEFIT:

Award Ceiling: $10,000
Grant Term: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Grant funds must be maintained in an account dedicated to project purposes.
