KENT LAW SCHOOL LLM SOLICITORS’ PRACTICE SCHOLARSHIP (CANTERBURY), SEPTEMBER 2025 ENTRY

To celebrate the inaugural year of the LLM Solicitors’ Practice Course at Kent (which complements the already established MLaw Integrated Course), and to coincide with the University of Kent’s 60th Anniversary celebrations, they are proud to offer these scholarships to all applicants who apply and satisfy the criteria outlined

ELIGIBILITY:

For Overseas Applicants:

Hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD. A full list of countries can be found on the OECD website

Be classified by the University of Kent as an Overseas student for tuition fee purposes

Be fully self-funded

For ALL Applicants:

Have applied for the taught Kent LLM in Solicitors’ Practice at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent for entry in September 2025

Have received an offer of a place on the taught LLM  in Solicitors’ Practice by the scholarship application deadline.

Submit a scholarship application (details below) by the scholarship application deadline (please note that we are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application)

This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships

Applications can be made before the deadline via your Kent Applicant Portal following receipt of an application for admission to the LLM in Solicitors’ Practice course.

KENT LAW SCHOOL LLM GLOBAL WELCOME SCHOLARSHIP (CANTERBURY), SEPTEMBER 2025 ENTRY

Application Deadline: 31 July 2025, 23:59 BST for September 2025 entry

Kent Law School LLM Global Welcome Scholarship (Canterbury), September 2025 entry. The Law School has established a major fund to support overseas students who study a taught LLM at the University’s Canterbury campus. Overseas students from any country which receives Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the OECD who undertake a full-time, taught LLM at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent. The list of countries is extensive, and amongst the countries included are Thailand, India, Nigeria, Kenya, Brazil, China, Turkey and many more.

Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes

To have accepted an offer of a place on the taught LLM by the scholarship application deadline

You must meet the academic conditions of entry/be accepted for entry for the award to be given

This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships offered by Kent Law School (the award which provides the greater monetary value overall will be given only). Please contact us for further information.
