UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE MASTERCARD FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

Application Deadline: 5th of December 2023 & 5th of January 2024

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at the University of Cambridge is pleased to announce that applications for the 2024/2025 academic year are now open. The programme offers scholarships which span the full range of across disciplines in Cambridge  except for the following business courses: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Corporate Law (MCL), Master of Finance (MFin).

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this scholarship you Must  be acitizen of an African country,

Must be ordinarily resident in an African country unless you can show temporary absence for study/work with an intention to return, or unless you have been displaced.

Must be applying for a Master’s course of up to one year in length, at the University of Cambridge.

The deadline for submitting applications for funding is the 5th of December 2023 for courses with a 5th of December deadline and 5th of January 2024 for courses with a 5th of January deadline.

WEIDENFELD-HOFFMANN SCHOLARSHIPS AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

Application Deadline: 5/19 January, 2024 (annual)

LOCATION: Oxford, England

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme cultivates the leaders of tomorrow by providing outstanding university graduates and professionals from developing and emerging economies with the opportunity to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford, combined with a comprehensive programme of leadership development, long-term mentoring and networking.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford.

Please refer to the scholarship page to see the complete list of eligible courses.  You must also be ordinarily resident in one of the eligible countries listed.

You should be able to demonstrate a connection between your subject of study and your longer-term career objectives, explaining how you see your professional work contributing to the improvement of public life in your country of origin or at a wider regional or international level. 

The above qualities will be assessed during the selection process, including using your graduate application form, your Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement and (if relevant) your interview.

This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2024-25.

BENEFIT:

The scholarship will cover 100% of course fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £18,622). Awards are made to cover the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.
