STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS – POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN THE FIELD OF THE PERFORMING ARTS • DAAD

LOCATION: Germany

This scholarship programme offers you the opportunity to continue your education in Germany with a postgraduate or continuing course of study. The scholarships also promote the exchange of experience and networking amongst colleagues.

ELIGIBILITY:

You can apply if you have gained a first university degree in the field of the Performing Arts at the latest by the time you commence your scholarship-supported study programme.

In this study programme, you can complete

a Master’s degree/postgraduate degree leading to a final qualification, or

a complementary course that does not lead to a final qualification (not an undergraduate course) at a state or state-recognised German university of your choice.

As a rule, your university degree should not date back more than 6 years at the time of the application deadline. Please read our important information for scholarship applicants / Section A, point 2.

Your application cannot be considered, if you have been resident in Germany for longer than 15 months at the application deadline.

MARGARET MCNAMARA EDUCATIONAL GRANTS MMEG SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES TO STUDY IN US & CANADA

Application Deadline: January 15, 2024 (Application Opens September 15)

LOCATION: Multiple Regions

Applications are open for the Margaret MCnamara Educational Grants MMEG Scholarships for Women from Developing Countries to Study in US & Canada.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

be a self-identifying woman, and at least 25 years old at time of application deadline;

be a national of a country listed on the MMEG Country Eligibility List (except for the Trinity Washington University program);

be registered (not just accepted) at an accredited in-person academic institution when submitting their application; 

plan to be enrolled for at least one full academic semester (half-year term) after award of the MMEG grant;

plan to graduate no later than three years after the award of the MMEG grant;

not be related to a World Bank Group, International Monetary Fund, or Inter-American Development Bank staff member, spouse, retiree, or MMEG Board member.
