This scholarship program aims to empower women in the technology field and provide them with opportunities for academic and professional growth. The Women in Tech Scholarships at UE are designed to support and recognise outstanding female talent in the areas of data, technology, and engineering. UE is committed to fostering diversity and excellence in the technology sector.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to all female applicants applying for tech programs at UE Germany or UE Dubai: Digital Business & Data Science B.Sc., Software Engineering B.Sc., Digital Transformations M.Sc., Data Science M.Sc., Software Engineering M.Sc.

In assessing your application, the executive board for this scholarship will look for a plausible, successful outcome in line with the aims and objectives of the scholarship. In particular:

The overall quality of your application—clear evidence of ‘passion’, ‘drive’, a tech affinity and ambition—will carry particular weight

The apparent need for funding

The goals and progression you will achieve arising from the Scholarship

BENEFIT:

One 100% scholarship, two 50% scholarships, two 40% scholarships, and two 20% scholarships

HENRY OFILI SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION UNDERGRDUTE SCHOLARSHIP

The Henry Chijioke Ofili Foundation is dedicated to supporting the education of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate exceptional academic potential and are pursuing undergraduate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

ELIGIBILITY:

The aim is to support high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds who demonstrate exceptional academic potential and a strong commitment to pursuing STEM disciplines.

Applicants should provide standardized test grades in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination or its equivalent in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and other core science subjects.

Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential and have a verifiable track record of volunteering, community service, and a strong perception of personal integrity. Applicants are expected to provide appropriate documentation to verify their underrepresented status,

Applicants must belong to one or more of the following groups: First-generation undergraduate students from low-income families. Orphans, housing-insecure children, and displaced children and youth who completed basic education through sheer resilience.

BENEFIT:

The scholarship is administered by The Destiny Trust , a social intervention organization focused on the education, wellbeing, and empowerment of children and young people from vulnerable groups.
