ABERTAY UNIVERSITY IB30+ SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Scotland

This is an award of up to a maximum of four years and is open to all new undergraduate prospective international students currently studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the Abertay IB30+ Scholarship, you must meet all of the following conditions:

Be classified as having international (overseas) fee status by Abertay University. 

Achieve 30 or more diploma points upon graduation from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

Hold an offer to a student on a full-time undergraduate degree, on campus, at Abertay starting in the 2026/27 or 2027/28 academic year.

Have met all academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student. This includes evidence of essential subjects at S5 or H4. Check course webpages for more details. 

The award will contribute to each year of the degree, up to a maximum of four years, while you are studying in Dundee. 

Students who are admitted with advanced entry into Year 2 or above and who meet the above conditions will also be eligible for this award.

No separate application form is required, and you will be assessed for the scholarship based on your application for study. If you meet all the eligibility criteria and are awarded the Abertay IB30+ Scholarship, you will be notified by us by email following your offer of study. BENEFIT:

The Abertay IB30+ Scholarship may be awarded in combination with the Abertay International Scholarship. In this case, the scholarships together will have a combined annual value of £7,000 (£3,000 from the Abertay International Scholarship and £4,000 from the Abertay IB30+ Scholarship).

FLEMISH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING MASTER MIND SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Belgium

The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training awards scholarships for master’s programmes in Flanders and Brussels to outstanding students from around the world.  The call for the academic year 2026-2027 is now open.

ELIGIBILITY:

All nationalities can apply, with the exception of Russian nationals (see news item for more information).

The student applies to take up a master’s degree programme at a Flemish higher education institution. This master’s degree may consist of one or two academic years but must meet the threshold of 60 ECTS per academic year.

A list of all English-taught master’s programmes in Flanders can be found on the button below. Please double-check if your desired host institution participates in the Master Mind scholarship.

The applicant should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential as proven by a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0. The GPA will be calculated on the last obtained bachelor’s or master’s degree. The tool used for the calculation of the GPA is Scholaro.

The student has a good knowledge of the English language and can provide proof thereof that is no older than 3 years at the time of application processing by the higher education institution.

The following are accepted:

An overall minimum band score of 7.0 on the IELTS test or the IELTS Indicator:

A minimum total score of 94 on a TOEFL test or TOEFL iBT;

A C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference;

A similar result in another official language test (recognized by the host institution).

The previous degree (which the student has used to enroll in the master programme) cannot have been obtained at a Flemish higher education institution. International students who have previously been enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution on credit mobility (such as Erasmus+) are still eligible for a Master Mind Scholarship.

BENEFIT:

A Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of €10,225 and a tuition fee waiver per academic year.
