BRIDGE FOUNDATION UNIVERSITIES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

LOCATION: Nigeria

The Bridge Foundation University Scholarship Award is a N700 million annual initiative by WealthBridge Financial Services (Holdings) Limited designed to empower outstanding Nigerian undergraduates while building a pipeline of future-ready talent.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to 100- and 200-level students from partner universities across Nigeria

CGPA of at least 4.0 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent)

Academic transcripts (200-level students)

UTME and Post-UTME scores (100-level students)

Pass the Screening Examination

Recommendation from department & university

Clean disciplinary record from Students’ Affairs

1-minute video expression of interest

Proven intellectual & extracurricular leadership

Comprehensive CV or Profile

Endorsement letter from home university

Letter from Dean of Student Affairs (DSA)

Evidence of extracurricular achievements

Willingness to intern at WealthBridge

The Bridge Foundation Nigerian Universities Scholarship Programme is currently available to students from these select institutions: University of Lagos, University of Ibadan, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Nigeria Nsukka, Ahmadu Bello University, University of Abuja, University of Port-Harcourt, Bayero University, Kano, University of Jos, and University of Maiduguri

AIRTEL FOUNDATION AFRICA FELLOWSHIP / 2025 AIRTEL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

LOCATION: Nigeria

The foundation launched the “Airtel Africa Tech Fellowship” program to support young Africans from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education in STEM as part of the Foundation’s broader goal of increasing the proportion of African youth with advanced Tech skills and shaping the next generation of tech leaders from the continent. The Foundation is partnering with selected Universities to support meritorious African students who secure admission for a tech-related undergraduate program.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Fellowship will only apply to students admitted into any one of the 7 participating public universities.

The Foundation will consider gender diversity as part of the selection criteria.  

The candidate shall not be a recipient of any other fellowship/scholarship/grant for the same purposes as being supported by the Airtel Africa Foundation.

Only new entrants shall be eligible. (100 level)

The Candidate must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the program

Scored a minimum of 230 in JAMB

Possess 5 credits, including English and mathematics, in one sitting.

Applicants must have JAMB results and an admission letter, a School ID card, & WAEC certificate/result to be shortlisted.

: Eligibility for the program is open to students from the following seven public universities in Nigeria:
University of Lagos (UNILAG)

University of Nigeria (UNN)

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU)

University of Benin (UNIBEN)

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN)

Tai Solarin University of Education (TASEUD) 
Eligible Courses
: Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Library and Information Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Telecommunication Engineering, and other tech or ICT-related fields.

BENEFIT:

The scholarship provides full academic support, including coverage for tuition, study materials, accommodation assistance, and a modest stipend. Exact disbursement details will be communicated directly to successful applicants.  

A total of 100 students will be selected this year
