GENERATION OF INTEGRITY ESSAY COMPETITION 2025

Are you a Nigerian student with a passion for change? Can your voice shape policies on youth and cybercrime? The Generation of Integrity Essay Competition 2025, organized by MUN Impact Nigeria, invites Nigerian students passionate about change to write essays on anti-corruption and cybercrime. The winning essays will receive national recognition, cash prizes, and inclusion in a Youth Policy Brief for the 11th Conference of the States Parties (CoSP11).

ELIGIBILITY:

Nigerian students (14–30) in secondary schools, universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education.

Word Count: 1,000–1,500 words

Essays generated wholly or in part using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Bard, Copy.ai, etc.) will be automatically disqualified.

Submissions will be screened using AI-detection software, and any entry found to contain significant AI-generated content will be rejected without exception.

By submitting your essay, you confirm that:

The work is entirely your own

No part of it was written using AI or automated writing tools.

Write on either of the themes:

Reclaiming Cyberspace: Policies and Programs Youth Want to See in the Fight Against Cybercrime (Tertiary Level)

If I Were the President: My Anti-Corruption Blueprint for Nigeria. (Secondary Level)

HEROES HELP PROJECT LIFT: EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT FOR MILITARY FAMILIES

A Scholarship Programme by Heroes Help for Dependents of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Heroes Help, a tri-service charity supporting members of the Nigerian Armed Forces and their families, is pleased to announce the launch of Project Lift, our flagship Scholarship Intervention. This initiative is designed to support the educational dreams of children and wards of Armed Forces personnel, with priority for those who have either:

Died in active service, or

Are living with post-service injury, disability, or significant economic hardship.

Through financial assistance, academic support, and psychosocial care, Project Lift seeks to ensure that no child of a hero is left behind in the pursuit of quality education.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must meet all the following conditions:

Be a child, ward, or legal dependant of a Nigerian Armed Forces services member (Army, Navy, Air Force)

The service member must have either died in active service, OR been medically retired, injured, or living with significant post-service hardship.

Other current serving and veteran can be considered

Applicants must be:

Enrolled (or seeking enrollment) in primary, secondary, or tertiary educational institutions in Nigeria.

Able to provide proof of school attendance or admission.

Demonstrate academic commitment and potential (grades, teacher/HOD references, etc.).

Willing to participate in follow-up, mentoring, and community engagement activities.
