The Spanish Railways Foundation, FSP, announces the 33rd edition of the ‘Iron Roads’ photography competition with the aim of fostering creativity in the railway field, as well as, in compliance with art. 6 of its Statutes, disseminating, promoting, and spreading continuously and permanently the cultural aspects related to the railway. The competition is organized by the Spanish Railways Foundation.

ELIGIBILITY:

The competition is free to enter.

The competition is open to anyone.

Each contestant may submit a maximum of two individual photographs related to the world of railways. The works must be original and may only be submitted by their authors. The Foundation reserves the right to reject any entries that do not adhere to the theme.

Presentation: It will be done exclusively in digital format. Images will be sent through the form on the website www.caminosdehierro.es (jpg, maximum 1.5 MB), completing all the required information.

You may submit a maximum of two photographs related to the world of railways.

The photographs must be unpublished.

Images must be sent via the form on the website  ffe.es/caminosdehierro/participacion.asp

BENEFIT:

First Prize: €4,500

Second Prize: €2,300

Runners-up: four of €400.

THE NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Nature photography is a great way to raise awareness of how crucial it is to protect our planet. These international photo awards are a chance for photographers of all levels to show off their work and share the wonders of the natural world.

ELIGIBILITY:

This international photo contest seeks to show incredible images that illustrate the beauty of our world and help raise awareness about its care. These photo awards are open to amateur and professional photographers alike. No matter their professional field or location.

The files must keep the following specifications:

sRGB or Adobe98 color space.

The minimum dimension must be 2500 pixels on the long side.

JPG format.

No watermarks / Copyright units / Logos on images.

Borderless photos only.

Maximum size 100 megabytes.

Finalists must provide a RAW file. This file will only be used to demonstrate ownership of the submitted image and to verify edit quantity. Winning participants who do not keep these eligibility criteria will be considered ineligible and disqualified with no right to appeal.

You can participate in as many categories as you wish with as many photographs as you want. The only important thing is that your photographs show how important and beautiful the natural environment is. That they remind us, once again, why they have to take care of it and give it the value it deserves.

At the Nature Photography Contest, they believe that photography is a powerful tool for sharing their values and concerns about the planet. Each of their categories seeks to showcase different aspects of nature, from its beauty to its challenges. By sharing your photos with them, you can contribute to their efforts to promote the protection and care of the natural world.
