INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT NESTLÉ SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN

In 1956, IMEDE (Institut pour l’Edude des Méthodes de Direction de l’Entreprise) was established in Lausanne by Nestlé in coordination with Harvard Business School. In 1989, the institute merged with IMI in Geneva to create IMD and its Lausanne-based campus, with a vision to develop global leaders.

IMD’s strong ties with Nestlé continued, and in 1997, the IMD MBA Nestlé Scholarship for Women was launched, and it has supported future women leaders ever since.

ELIGIBILITY:

Demonstrate excellence in previous academic and/or professional endeavors, including GPA (or equivalent) and GMAT/GRE

Convince them of your ambition and ability to use your education to pursue a leadership role

Career progression and international exposure

Ability to contribute to the overall learning experience of the class

Performance during the Assessment Day

Essay: “Building a diverse and inclusive workplace requires the participation and accountability of each member of the organization. What would you recommend as ways for Nestlé to better foster allyship amongst employees?” (750 words)

Priority will be given to women from developing countries. (Employees of Nestlé or its subsidiaries are not eligible.)

GOTOH EDUCATIONAL CORPORATION TOKYU GROUP SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE GRADUATE SCHOOLS OF TOKYO CITY UNIVERSITY 2026

Tokyo City University is pleased to announce a scholarship open to privately financed international students entering a master’s course at Tokyo City University (TCU) and who wish to continue to a doctoral course. It is intended to partially cover the expenses of establishing a suitable study environment. The goal of this scholarship is to educate leaders who, building on their research and achievements at TCU, will take an innovative role in an international society as well as a bridge among TCU and their countries and universities.

ELIGIBILITY:

The applicant should have completed a total of 16 years of education in his/her country. If it does not meet this criterion, please contact TCU through email tokyu_scholarship@tcu.ac.jp
To excel both academically and personally, and who can be expected to make significant contributions in research and to the internationalization of the university
To fulfill the purpose of this scholarship, it is limited to those applicants who are within two years after obtaining a bachelor’s degree.
As a rule, to have achieved academic results within the top ten percent at a university within the top ten percent of universities in their country.
Be able to submit a letter of recommendation from the president of the university where the above results were achieved. If you have difficulty in obtaining a letter of recommendation from the president, please consult the Office of International Students of TCU tokyu_scholarship@tcu.ac.jp
To be enrolled in a master’s degree course and to continue to a doctoral degree course at TCU graduate school.
Be not receiving any other scholarships

Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must submit all the necessary application documents and transcripts as well as a letter of recommendation from their university president.
Before applying, students are asked to submit the “Prior Consultation Form” to describe their interest in the field of study in the graduate school at Tokyo City University. TCU will screen prospective academic supervisors and inform students about the result. However, students must receive approval from their future supervisor of their graduate study at Tokyo City University.
(the university reserves the right to refuse acceptance under a supervisor whose laboratory has met the maximum number of students.)

Applicants who apply for this scholarship must apply for the Graduate Schools at Tokyo City University separately from the application for the scholarship. BENEFIT:

Scholarship: the value of the scholarship is 1,000,000 Japanese Yen per year (offered after entering Japan)
Tuition fee: exemption from the entrance fee and tuition fees (application fee required)
Accommodation Fee: full financial support of the initial and monthly rent payment of TCU designated dormitory (monthly utility costs and cleaning costs when leaving the dormitory are needed; repair costs will also be asked if the room is damaged)
