UAL INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver for a full-time or part-time taught master’s course at 1 of UAL’s Colleges and Institutes. Up to 288 scholarships are available for the 26/27 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY:

Criteria 1: You must hold an offer to study a full-time or part-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s Colleges and Institutes starting in 2026/27.

Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes or MSc qualification and be offered at one of UAL’s Colleges or Institutes. Courses run by UAL Online are not eligible for this scholarship.

You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK.

Criteria 2: You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status. Read more about Postgraduate Tuition Fees.

Criteria 3: You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognised equivalent qualifications are also accepted. To check your eligibility, read the International Academic Qualifications Equivalency (PDF 1,015 KB).

You will need to provide your transcripts as proof of your qualification.

If you have not yet received your results, you will need to provide evidence of your predicted grade as part of your application. When you receive your results, you will need to provide further evidence that you have achieved your predicted grade to be granted the award.

Criteria 4: You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application that responds to the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):

Please tell us about how your achievements and experience gained both within and outside of school/university demonstrate your suitability for this award.

Please tell us how you intend to use the qualification you will be studying to support your future plans.

What contribution do you intend to make to university life whilst studying? How do you feel being part of the UAL community will help you in achieving your career aspirations?

You will need to hold an offer for your postgraduate course before applying for this scholarship.

FULLY FUNDED SIIT GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 1/2026 (AUGUST 2026 INTAKE)

Application Period: 12 February – 31 March 2026

LOCATION: Thailand

Scholarships from the Sirindhorn Technology Scholarship Fund are available for excellent students from reputable universities of any foreign country to study in a master’s or doctoral degree program at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat
University, Thailand.

ELIGIBILITY:

For the master’s program:

Must not be of Thai nationality

Has an excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 percent of the class)

Meet qualifications of SIIT graduate program admissions

Provides two strong recommendation letters (at least one recommendation letter must come

from an academic instructor/advisor)

Provide your referees’ official/professional email addresses (email address given by

their institute/company/university) in the referees’ information section of the online

application form. Personal email addresses are not allowed.

Has good health and good conduct

Must not be a recipient of another type of scholarship

Maintains a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.25

Number of Scholarships: 20 Continuing Scholarships

For prospective students in the academic semester 1/2026 (August 2026)

Master’s degree (2-year curriculum)

Doctoral degree (3-year curriculum)

For the PhD program:

Must not be of Thai nationality

Has an excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 percent of the class)

Meet qualifications of SIIT graduate program admissions

Provides two strong recommendation letters (at least one recommendation letter must come

from an academic instructor/advisor)

Round-trip economy travel expenses, the most direct route to and from Thailand

and the recipient’s home country (actual expense, maximum 20,000 baht/student)

Miscellaneous expenses such as visa fees, and a one-time English proficiency test for graduation,

etc. (actual expenses, but not over 10,000 baht/student)

Health and accident insurance during the period of scholarship in Thailand

For the PhD program: Scholarship Coverage:

Full SIIT Tuition and Educational Support Fees (full thesis support),

A living allowance of 15,000 baht per month

Round-trip economy travel expenses, the most direct route to and from Thailand

and the recipient’s home country (actual expense, maximum 20,000 baht/student)

Miscellaneous expenses such as visa fees, and a one-time English proficiency test for graduation,

etc. (actual expenses, but not over 10,000 baht/student)

Health and accident insurance during the period of scholarship in Thailand
