The University of Sussex is delighted to offer this scholarship for an applicant starting one of several courses in the Media and Film Department in September 2026, named for Sussex alumna Cate Haste

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have received and accepted an offer of a place on one of the following Master’s courses:

Cultural and Creative Industries MA

Filmmaking MA

Film Studies MA

Journalism and Documentary Practice MA

Journalism and Media Studies MA

Media Practice for Development and Social Change MA

Applicants assessed as ‘Home’ or ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes are both eligible to be considered.  

All eligible applicants will be considered by the panel on the information provided in their Master’s application. There is no requirement to complete a separate scholarship application.

The University of Dundee is inviting eligible exceptional students to apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship Undergraduate (September 2026). Please carefully read the Global Excellence Key Facts and Terms and Conditions 2026/27 documents below for further information.

ELIGIBILITY:

Level of study: Undergraduate

Attendance: Full-time

Starting date: 21 September 2026

Fee status: International

You must: 

Application & Offer:

Hold an offer for a full-time, on-campus taught Bachelor’s programme in any academic School. With the exception of the School of Medicine and the School of Dentistry

Programme fee must be £21,800 or above.,

Academic Achievement:

Achieve AAB at A-Level or above (or equivalent).
Equivalencies of all qualifications are determined at the discretion of the University of Dundee.

Graduate Entry LLB-UK 1st Class degree (or equivalent). 

Fee Status: You are classified as an International Fee-paying student, as confirmed in your offer letter.

There is no separate application required for this scholarship. To be considered, please ensure that you provide your final academic qualifications as evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria. The University Admissions Team will review these before confirming any award. Please note that awards cannot be made on the basis of predicted grades or without the necessary documentation.
