OXFORD SAÏD BUSINESS SCHOOL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

The Saïd Business School Foundation (SBSF) is a charitable trust established in 1998. The Foundation aims to assist the School in its pursuit of excellence in research, teaching, and relevance to business practitioners, with a view to maintaining Oxford Saïd as one of the world’s top business schools.

ELIGIBILITY:

All MBA applicants are eligible.

Preference may be given to candidates from less well-represented regions, including Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. 

Criteria may include, but are not limited to:

Strong career progression and excellent future potential.

Good communication skills and leadership ability.

Academic achievement and excellence, demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, and other academic achievements.

Readiness and enthusiasm to become a strong ambassador for the school while on the programme and beyond

To apply: No additional application required. They use the details you supply in your MBA application to determine eligibility.

Deadline: There is no fixed application deadline. All offer-holders will be considered at each MBA admissions stage. This funding will be available at all stages. 

BENEFIT:

Value: A range of partial awards, typically up to £30,000, contributing towards course fees.

Number available: This varies per year but typically up to 40 MBA scholars.

AFOX/MASTERCARD FOUNDATION SCHOLARS PROGRAMME GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Oxford and the Mastercard Foundation have established an innovative and ambitious partnership under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) to support Africans who have had to overcome hardship. In partnership with Saïd Business School, up to three AfOx Graduate Scholarships are available for the 2027-28 MBA programme. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarships are available for applicants who are African nationals, ordinarily resident in African countries, and who can demonstrate a commitment to Africa’s development. The scholarships cover course fees and a grant for living costs, as well as tailor-made training programmes, networking opportunities, and support for students before, during, and following their time at Oxford.

Open to African citizens who are ordinarily resident in Africa, have not already taken a Master’s degree, and can demonstrate a commitment to Africa’s development.
