The General ISSS Financial Aid scholarship is a *cash scholarship that provides assistance to both domestic and international students who demonstrate financial need.
ELIGIBILITY:
You are an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full-time at UT Austin during the award semester (Spring 2024 and/or Summer 2024).
You are on a non-immigrant visa and classified as an international student at UT Austin.
You must have completed an entire course of study for two academic semesters at UT Austin.
Have a cumulative GPA above 2.0 for undergraduate students and a 3.0 GPA for graduate students.
Demonstrate financial need
BENEFIT:
This scholarship will be a $4,000 award in the Spring and a $2,500 award in the summer.
In order to be considered for a Dean’s International Excellence Award, students are required to demonstrate academic excellence (usually a UK first class undergraduate degree or international equivalent), and the potential both to make a significant contribution to the Strathclyde community during their studies and in their chosen profession upon graduation (assessed by information provided in the scholarship application form).
The Faculty of Engineering’s International Scholarships are only open for self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course. Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply
Applications are now being accepted and completed application forms should be submitted as early as possible
In order to be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time course in the 2023/24 academic year
Applicants need to only submit one application and will be considered for all levels of postgraduate taught scholarships.
BENEFIT:
These scholarships are worth £5,000 and £8,000 and will be offered to exceptional applicants at postgraduate taught level only.
