The Global Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship is an application based award open to those who hold an offer of study at UEA. This scholarship is designed to reward international fee status applicants who have been offered a place to study with UEA and who can clearly and concisely explain how studying here at UEA will help them to make an outstanding contribution to their chosen field of study as well as the wider UEA community.
ELIGIBILITY:

Type of Course: Postgraduate Taught
Successful offer holders will be able to clearly and concisely explain how studying here at UEA will help them to make an outstanding contribution to their chosen field of study and how they can contribute to the UEA campus society.
Years Available: 2025
Applications to our 2025 Global Excellence Scheme are to be submitted via video.
Application Deadline: 23:59 UK time on 31st July 2025.

To be awarded to the best UK applicant to a Taught Masters Programme. If there are no UK applicants then the scholarship may be awarded to the best applicant from a Commonwealth country.
To be selected for this award, applicants should be holding an offer for an MSc within the School of Civil Engineering.

The Scholarship can be awarded in conjunction with other University of Leeds Scholarships.
Excludes online courses
The Scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction, with no monetary alternative. The maintenance payment will be given once registration is complete and UK bank details have been submitted to the student Minerva portal.
The award of a scholarship cannot be deferred and will lapse if not taken up in September 2025.

Successful applicants will be notified via email within three weeks of the closing date.
BENEFIT:
£3,000 towards tuition fees plus £1,000 towards maintenance and living costs.
