Age Requirement: Illinois Wesleyan University is a residential campus that requires all students to live in university housing for their first 3 years. All students living on campus must be 17 years of age, per our University Housing Policy . Due to this, applicants must turn 17 on or before August 1st of their enrollment year, if starting during the fall semester, or January 1st of their enrollment year, if starting during the spring semester.

Merit-Based Scholarships: These awards range from $15,000-$38,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years. Students who complete the admissions application are automatically considered for scholarships.
President’s Scholarships: Two full-tuition scholarships are awarded each year to highly qualified first-year international students based on their talents, interests, and academic achievements.
Additional Financial Aid Opportunities: International students may submit the CSS PROFILE to be considered for additional financial support from IWU.
