WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP: SURREY MBA 2025 ENTRY

3 November 2025 – Executive MBA.

The Women in Leadership scholarship is open to female candidates who can demonstrate their contribution to business and a drive to support other female candidates in the future. The scholarship is open to candidates joining either the full-time or Executive MBA course. Applications to the scholarship or the program are FREE.

ELIGIBILITY:

In order to be eligible:

You must hold a lower second-class degree or equivalent, alternatives may be considered, see entry criteria for more information.

You must be a UK, EU or international student

You must be self-funded or receiving a partial sponsorship or loan

You must be studying full or part time

You must be studying Full Time MBA or Executive MBA

EU and overseas’ students must comply with the English language requirements (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall grade with 6.0 in each element or equivalent).

In order to apply for the Women in Leadership Scholarship all applicants need to complete a programme application for one of our MBA programmes and undergo an informal interview. For application enquiries, please contact MBA@surrey.ac.uk

BENEFIT:

This is a partial scholarship that covers up to 50% of the tuition fee. They are awarded on a rolling basis. Candidates who apply early in the admissions round may therefore have a greater chance of receiving an award.

HATFIELD LIONESS POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP 2025-26

Application Deadline: 31 March 2025

LOCATION: United Kingdom

The aim of the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship is to enable a female student from a developing country where access to tertiary education is limited to benefit from undertaking postgraduate study at Durham University.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must have applied for and been offered an unconditional place on their chosen master’s programme by June 2025

Applicants must not be in receipt of any other scholarship to fund their postgraduate studies

Applicants must be or identify as a woman

Applicants must be a national of one of the following countries listed on the program website

The Scholarship is available for students starting a degree programme in September/October 2025.

Eligible programs: All except MBA, PhD and research Master’s programmes. 

Applicants should:

hold a relevant honours degree of sufficient standard to be admitted to your chosen Master’s course ; and

have all other course entry requirements including the relevant English language qualification;

not hold a Master’s degree; and

not otherwise have the financial means to study for a Master’s degree in the UK.

BENEFIT:

The Scholarship will cover:

full payment of University tuition fees

stipend for living expenses

fully funded, self-catered or fully catered, mixed accommodation at Hatfield College

one return economy air ticket from the home country to the UK, and the cost of return travel between the UK airport and Durham City

‘settling in allowance’ on arrival

cost of UK visa and the UK Health surcharge.
