The International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships provide financial support for international applicants studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme.

For students who apply for autumn 2025 entry, we are offering 23 scholarships across three of our Faculties:

Engineering

Natural Sciences

Imperial College Business School

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be:

studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme

an international student paying the Overseas rate of tuition

applying for an undergraduate course within the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, or Imperial College Business School

Scholarships will be awarded to exceptional International Baccalaureate students who achieve academic excellence in their diploma programme.

There is no formal application process or separate application form for the scheme.

Academically excellent IB applicants will be nominated for selection for this scholarship by the Imperial department to which they apply as part of the admission process.

These awards are for the highest achieving students. Academic merit and potential to succeed at Imperial will be taken into account during the nomination process.

BENEFIT:

Each scholarship is worth £5,000 per year for each year that your course lasts. This applies for students commencing in 2024 and 2025.
