Kent Law School LLM Global Welcome Scholarship (Canterbury), September 2025 entry. The Law School has established a major fund to support overseas students who study a taught LLM at the University’s Canterbury campus. Overseas students from any country which receives Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the OECD who undertake a full-time, taught LLM at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent. The list of countries is extensive, and amongst the countries included are Thailand, India, Nigeria, Kenya, Brazil, China, Turkey and many more.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD. A full list of countries can be found on the OECD website

Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes

Be fully self-funding your studies

To have applied for the taught Kent LLM at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent for entry in September 2025

To have accepted an offer of a place on the taught LLM by the scholarship application deadline

Submit a scholarship application (details below) by the scholarship application deadline (please note that we are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application)

You must meet the academic conditions of entry/be accepted for entry for the award to be given

This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships offered by Kent Law School (the award which provides the greater monetary value overall will be given only). Please contact us for further information.

Applications for the MGNL Program Class of 2027 Are Now Open! The MGNL is a 2-year program that aims to educate students who have a global interest, a commitment to leadership, and a desire to address issues of inequity and disparity through health delivery and Candidates must be committed to high academic integrity.  

ELIGIBILITY:

Admission to the Masters in Global Nursing Leadership requires the student to meet the minimum admission requirements for graduate study of the University of Global Health Equity and the following requirements of the Center for Nursing and Midwifery:

A bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program            

5 – 7 years’ experience as a registered nurse (RN)

Currently employed.

Current non – restricted registered nurse(RN) practice license

Letter from current employer stating support for graduate study

Two professional referees

Curriculum vitae (CV)

A state of purpose essay describing the applicant’s interest in nursing leadership and the MGNL’s relationship to those goals

A personal interview with UGHE graduate faculty

· All academic documents presented must be from an accredited institution. 

Completed applications must be accompanied with NOTARIZED COPIES of academic documents. 

· Proficiency in English to enable the student to both comprehend learning material and to engage in verbal and written communication at the graduate level.
