SBS: GLASGOW 850 INTERNATIONAL MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP, SEPTEMBER 2025

To celebrate the 850th anniversary of the city of Glasgow, they are delighted to offer scholarships to help support full-time students joining a Strathclyde Business School (SBS) MSc programme in September 2025.

All candidates who hold a programme offer will be automatically considered. Therefore, no separate scholarship application is required, as the award decision will be based on the overall quality of the MSc programme application. 

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be deemed International for course fee status and hold an offer on an SBS MSc programme for the September 2025 intake.

candidates must be self-funded (for example, not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships or employer sponsorship) and already hold an offer of a place on an SBS MSc programme for the September 2025 intake and also be deemed International with regards to Fee Status

students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde

online and blended learning programmes are not eligible for these scholarships

scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from January 2025 onwards and the deadline for consideration of applications will be 31 July 2025

Strathclyde Business School’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from the end of January 2025 and the final deadline for consideration of awards will be 31 July 2025. All applicants will normally be notified of the Scholarship Committee’s decision within one week of receiving an MSc programme offer.

BENEFIT:

The value of these scholarship awards will range from £6,000 to £8,000, depending on the subject area and course fee.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FORUM 2025

UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, 1-8 July 2025 – “World Heritage in an interconnected world: Leveraging digital technologies and innovative approaches” The Forum will enhance the expertise and capacities of young professionals in protecting, preserving, and promoting our natural and cultural World Heritage. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Participants of the World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2025 are expected to be:

Aged between 23 and 32 years (born between 30 June 1993 and 30 June 2002 including)

Experienced in one of these fields: architecture, archaeology, conservation, restoration, urban planning, art history, heritage-related studies;

Involved in World Heritage protection, preservation and promotion;

Familiar with/experienced in digital technologies in relation to World Heritage;

Motivated and committed to implementing the outcomes of the Forum in their respective countries;

Committed to enhancing community engagement in the management of World Heritage properties;

Available for the entire duration of the Forum;

Proficient in English and/or French, as the Forum will be conducted in English and French.

In addition to general eligibility, the following elements will also be considered in selecting the participants:

Balanced geographical representation

Gender equality

Diversity of professional backgrounds

Ability to disseminate gained experience in the country or institution of origin

Knowledge and experience in the management practices for World Heritage sites

Travel and accommodation:

The participants are expected to arrive on 30 June 2025 and depart on 8 July 2025. All related expenses (economy class flights, accommodation, local transportation, meals, and visa fees) will be covered for the duration of the forum. The organizers will also assist in the travel preparations and will provide support to the participants who need a visa.
