UNIVERSITY OF KENT AFRICA BUSINESS & LAW CHALLENGE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is designed to recognize and support global talent in business and law, which is in line with the University of Kent’s mission to inspire global ambition. By winning the challenge, students have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and critical thinking—qualities that we celebrate and reward.

ELIGIBILITY:

Eligible Programmes: Undergraduate courses at Kent Business School (KBS) or Kent Law School (KLS)

Have participated in and won the Africa Business & Law Challenge 2025.

Have applied and received an offer for an undergraduate course at Kent Business School (KBS) or Kent Law School (KLS).

Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes.

Accept your offer by 30 June 2025 and pay your tuition fee deposit by 31 July 2025.

This scholarship is exclusive to undergraduate students and cannot be deferred to a later year.

Once the scholarship has been offered, you are required to pay your tuition fee deposit by 31 July 2025, 23.59 BST, in order to secure the scholarship. 

Please also ensure you meet any other international admissions deadlines relevant to you.

You must meet the academic conditions of entry/be accepted for entry for the award to be given

The award is capped at 4. The winning team of the Africa Business and Law Challenge will receive the award.

This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships except the Kent International Academic Excellence Award. Please contact us for further information.

No separate application is required—the winning team of the Africa Business & Law Challenge will be automatically awarded the scholarship once they have received and accepted an offer for an eligible course by 30 June 2025. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will then need to pay your tuition fee deposit by 31 July 2025, 23.59 BST, in order to secure the scholarship.

BENEFIT:

Each member of the winning team will receive a £3,000 tuition fee discount, applicable for their first year of undergraduate study at the University of Kent’s Business School (KBS) or Law School (KLS) commencing their studies in September 2025.

KENT INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

LOCATION: United Kingdom

The Kent International Undergraduate Award for Academic Excellence will be awarded to overseas fee-paying applicants of the University of Kent who meet all the criteria listed on the program website. To receive the award, you must accept the terms and conditions attached to the award letter by 15 September 2025.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must be domiciled in one of the countries mentioned in the program website

be entering an undergraduate degree at any stage at the University of Kent’s Canterbury or Medway campus from September 2025;

achieve the equivalent of ABB A level to be eligible for consideration;

have achieved the required grades for at least one of the qualifications specified below; and

have satisfied conditions of entry to the University of Kent.

If you are awarded the Kent International Award for Academic Excellence, you must accept the terms and conditions on KentVision by 15 September.

This award is also open to international students who are normally domiciled in an eligible country but who are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study.

BENEFIT:

£3,000 tuition fee discount for the first year of study, with a further £1,000 awarded in year 2 and £1,000 in year 3, conditional upon maintaining a 60% or 2:1 average.
