You must be admitted to a PhD program at Concordia University to pursue research within Volt-Age themes.

The Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (DUPRF) 2026, formerly known as the Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowships will open for applications on Tuesday 1 July 2025 and close on Sunday 10 August 2025 at 11:55pm (AEST). 

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible, applicants must have a PhD awarded on or after 1 January 2022, or a PhD date that is commensurate after allowable career interruptions. 

Interested applicants should review the 2026 DUPRF Guidelines and begin discussions with a potential supervisor using the relevant Faculty, School, Institute and Centre contacts page. 

Applicants can be Australian or non-Australian citizens. The appointment of Fellows who do not hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency status will be subject to the recipient being granted an appropriate visa (Refer also “Conditions of Award”). Some applicants may be affected by Australia’s Autonomous Sanctions requirements (Refer to “Conditions of Award”).

BENEFIT:

Each Fellowship provides up to three years of salary support, ranging from Level A, Step 6, to the top of Level B. In addition, Fellows receive a one-time research support grant of $15,000 to cover direct project costs. This comprehensive support package is designed to give researchers the time, resources, and mentorship they need to thrive.
