UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN’S AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 OR JANUARY 2027

The University of Lincoln’s Africa Scholarship is designed to help students from across Africa to access postgraduate-level study at the University of Lincoln. The Africa Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught program commencing in the 2026/27 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY:

In order to be eligible to receive the Africa Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Africa.

Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2026 or January 2027.

A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

Students joining a Pre-Master’s programme will be entitled to receive the scholarship when they move onto their main programme.

BENEFIT:

The Africa Scholarship is valued at £4,000 – £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: 31 January for commencement in Semester 1

30 June for commencement in Semester 2

31 October for commencement in Summer School

​The scholarship was established to support and reward international students of the highest academic ability in further study at Lincoln University.

ELIGIBILITY:

Available to International Students

Must be a new to Lincoln University International Student who is planning to enroll in a Bachelor’s degree.

Must not be in receipt of any other scholarship and should meet all Lincoln University entrance requirements for any Lincoln University Bachelor degree program.
