Application Deadline: 30 June 2026
LOCATION: United Kingdom
The University of Leicester is delighted to offer 150 tuition fee waivers over the next five years to international undergraduate students. This begins with 30 tuition fee waivers available for applicants starting in September 2026.
ELIGIBILITY:
You must be starting a full-time undergraduate programme* at the University of Leicester, UK campus, commencing in September 2026 for year one, two, or three of your undergraduate programme for a maximum of three years.
You must have made Leicester your ‘firm choice’ by 30 June 2026 (if you have applied through UCAS, you will need to reply by your UCAS reply deadline, which may be earlier than this date).
You should achieve the equivalent of two grades above the standard A-level entry requirement.
All conditions of your offer must be met by 20 August 2026.
You must be classed as an international student for fee purposes.
Excluding Medicine, LLB Maitrise, STEM International Foundation, ‘International Year 1’ courses, and programs that exceed three years in duration.
** For example, if the standard A-level entry requirement is advertised as ABB, this fee waiver will be awarded to applicants who achieve the equivalent of A-level AAA or higher in an international qualification (see our country pages for equivalents in our most common qualifications). Discretion will be applied where an equivalent level is not practically attainable within the marking scheme of particular international qualifications.
To be considered, you need to create a short video (no more than two minutes) that answers these three questions:
What do you want to achieve after university?
How will your chosen degree help you achieve this?
How will you contribute to the University community while you’re here?
Submit your video within the application form. Applications will go live on 18 November 2025.
BENEFIT:
A full tuition fee waiver will be awarded to 30 international fee-paying undergraduate students starting an undergraduate programme in September 2026. Applications will go live on 18 November 2025.
