The Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate International Scholarships offer funding awards to international students across a variety of postgraduate taught programmes.
ELIGIBILITY:
This scholarship is available for students joining Cardiff University in January 2027. Eligible programmes for January 2027
Applicants domiciled in the following countries/territories are eligible:

Eligible applicants initially awarded unconditional offers will automatically be granted the scholarship.
Scholarship awards are subject to meeting the criteria and deposit deadlines as set out in the terms and conditions for each intake.
You will automatically be awarded the appropriate funding as long as you meet our eligibility criteria as set out in the terms and conditions for your intake.
Applicants who do not meet their offer conditions and original admissions criteria (where applicable) will not be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, even if they are accepted into the university.
Scholarship eligibility is separate from admission eligibility. To qualify for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, you must achieve the published minimum academic entry requirements for your chosen programme exactly as stated on the course pages of our website, at the time of your application.
International applicants from eligible countries/territories who accept an offer for selected postgraduate programmes and pay any required deposit by the date specified on their offer letter will automatically be considered for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship.
BENEFIT:
The standard award for this scholarship is £4,000.
