DEJI ALLI YOUNG TALENT AWARD (DAAYTA) 2025

The Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award is an ARM initiative in partnership with TechnoVision’s TVC Labs that aims at providing young Nigerians with an opportunity to develop innovative start-up ventures that add sustainable economic value to Nigeria.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the award, the applicant must:

be a citizen of Nigeria

be between 18 and 35 years of age

submit their application which must be their original work

have an MVP (minimum viable product) i.e. you have customers

must be a limited liability company duly incorporated in Nigeria

must be operating the company on a full-time basis

must commit to be physically available to fully participate in the DAAYTA programs and activities – Entrepreneurial education programme at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre in Lagos, Nigeria

must commit to be available (physically or virtually) to participate in the 5-month acceleration support for the development of their venture

be able to fund his/her/team’s travel expenses and other associated costs if required

be physically available (with co-founders/team where they exist) for the 2-day Pitch Workshop and Final Pitch Event scheduled for April 9 – 10, 2025

understand the business of ARM, what we stand for, and

be ready to represent ARM as an Ambassador

BENEFIT:

The winner of DAAYTA 2025 shall, subject to the Terms & Conditions, receive funding of ₦12,000,000 (twelve million naira) over one (1) year for the following purposes:

Contribution to working capital.

Participation in an entrepreneurial education program at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. (duration is 4 – 5 months)

5-month acceleration support services for the development of their venture by TVC Labs.

THE BRITISH ACADEMY NEIL KER MEMORIAL FUND 2024-25

The object of this fund, established by the family and friends of Neil R Ker FBA, is to promote the study of Western medieval manuscripts, in particular those of British interest; that is enabling investigation of their production (including decoration), readership and use in particular

ELIGIBILITY:

Applications are invited from both early career and established scholars of any nationality engaged in original research intended to produce monographs, editions, or studies of documents, texts or illustrations, that include the analysis of the material features of original manuscripts. Awards are offered to support any aspect of research, including travel and publication. Grants are not available to fund attendance at conferences or seminars.

Grants are tenable for 12 months at a time. Re-applications for subsequent phases of research may be considered.

BENEFIT:

£2,000.
