SAFETYFIX NEW APPLICATION DESIGN – CREATIVE CONTEST ON DESALL.COM

A new “New Idea” contest on desall.com: Safetyfix and Desall invites you to discover new possibilities for Safetyfix, a patented pressure coupling system. They’re seeking innovative applications that will broaden and advance the utilisation of this product line in diverse industries and sectors.

ELIGIBILITY:

Participation is free and open to creative talents of any nationality aged 18 or older. Participants may submit one or more projects, but only projects published on the website http://www.desall.com from the upload page dedicated to the contest will be accepted.

BENEFIT:

€3000: The selection of the winner by the Sponsor will be the result of an unquestionable evaluation and it will take into account originality, feasibility and consistency of submitted projects with the presented brief.

Extra Award (option right fee)
€1500: Throughout the duration of the option right, the Sponsor offers an additional opportunity to all participants by setting the compensation of €1000 for the purchase of the licence for the economic exploitation of projects not recognized as winning proposals. NEXT GENERATION SOCIAL SCIENCES IN AFRICA: DOCTORAL DISSERTATION COMPLETION FELLOWSHIP

The Social Science Research Council offers fellowships to support the completion of doctoral degrees and to promote next generation social science research in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. The fellowships support dissertation research on peace, security, and development topics.

ELIGIBILITY:

All applicants must:

be citizens of any sub-Saharan African country

be enrolled and working towards a PhD in an accredited university, or affiliated to an institution in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, or Uganda

be in the final year of writing and have completed at least two doctoral dissertation chapters

BENEFIT:

The doctoral dissertation completion fellowship supports a one-year leave from teaching and administrative responsibilities through a stipend up to US$10,000 to permit the completion of a dissertation that advances research on peace, security, and development topics. This program also offers two workshops each year to help fellows further develop their chapters and complete the writing of their doctoral dissertations. Facilitators at the workshops help strengthen the capacity of fellows for scholarly writing, including academic publications.
