STUDYPORTALS SCHOLARSHIP: €10,000 FOR YOUR MASTER’S ABROAD

The Studyportals Scholarship gives you a chance to get €10,000 to help fund your Master’s abroad. It’s open to students from anywhere in the world who are applying to a Master’s at one of our trusted partner universities.

ELIGIBILITY:

Anyone planning to study for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree abroad at one of our partner universities can apply for the €10,000 Studyportals Scholarship. The scholarship is open to students from all countries, anywhere in the world.

Motivation letter: A strong motivation letter clearly shows why you want to study abroad, why you have picked your programme, and how the scholarship will help you reach your goals. Keep your writing honest, focused, and enthusiastic—this is your chance to show who you are and why you’re a great fit (check out our guide with tips and examples to write a successful scholarship motivation letter to help you get started).

Here are the top 5 criteria they consider when they evaluate your letter for the Studyportals Scholarship: Ambition, Personality, Originality, Clarity, and Length (keep it between 400–600 words)

The rest is up to you. Make it personal. Show them what makes you unique and how your studies abroad will help you make a positive impact in the world.

To be eligible for the Studyportals Scholarship, you must be accepted to a partner universities listed on our platforms. If you’re applying elsewhere, you cannot apply for the Studyportals Scholarship, but you can explore other financial aid opportunities using our Scholarship Search Tool.

Employees of Studyportals, along with their relatives (up to the second degree of kinship), are excluded from participating in the Studyportals Scholarships.

There is no entry fee to participate in the Studyportals Scholarships.

Share your review: Review your current or past University to help future students

Stay Updated: Opt in to receive emails to stay informed about the scholarship

Confirm Acceptance: Confirm the institution where you have applied and your email address

Submit Application: Send in your letter of acceptance and motivation letter

BENEFIT:

The Studyportals Scholarships has a total of 2 grants of 10,000 EUR each.

Each individual Studyportals Scholarship grant will be applied toward the cost of tuition fees in the first instance. Tuition fees will be paid to the Higher Education Institution that the successful candidate will attend.

MCMASTER UNIVERSITY AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 

Application Deadline: February 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

LOCATION: Canada

The McMaster University Award of Excellence is a prestigious award and is presented to a student who exemplifies the highest standards of academic and personal achievement. 

ELIGIBILITY:

The recipient will:

Have a strong history of academic excellence

Demonstrate a commitment to community excellence

Show great potential as a student scholar at McMaster University

Exemplify McMaster University’s values of excellence, engagement, and personal growth.

Eligible faculties: Business, Engineering, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences

Renewable each year in Level 2-4 for a total of four years. Students are required to be enrolled in the faculty to which they were originally admitted, maintain full-time enrollment status, and continue to pay international student tuition fees

Applicants must apply through AwardSpring. McMaster English Language Development (MELD) applicants must apply through the McMaster University Award of Excellence Form for MELD.

Application opens: November 27th, 2025

Application deadline: February 19, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Award amounts are determined by the faculty and are based on the student’s enrolled course load as required by their program. The final value will be confirmed following enrollment.

Award value: Up to $200,000 over four years.
