ABERTAY UNIVERSITY PRINCIPAL’S EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP – GLOBAL

LOCATION: Scotland

This award is designed to support outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate international students from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East starting their studies in the 2026/27 or 2027/28 academic years.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the Principal’s Excellence Scholarship—Global, you must meet all of the following conditions:

Be classified as having International (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University.

Hold an offer to study for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree, on campus, at Abertay in the 2026/27 or 2027/28 academic year. 

Have met all academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student.

The award will contribute to each year of the degree, up to a maximum of four years, while you are studying in Dundee. 

Students who are admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme, and who meet the above conditions will also be eligible for this award.

No separate application form is required, and you will be assessed for the scholarship based on your application for study and your personal statement. If you meet all the eligibility criteria and are awarded a Principal’s Excellence Scholarship, you will be notified by us by email following your offer of study. Please continue to check your inbox once you have received your offer of study from Abertay.

ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: United Kingdom

The International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to international students starting an undergraduate course at ARU. There are two levels of award depending on the standard of your application.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for consideration for our International Undergraduate Scholarship, you must be:

An international student (international tuition fee payer)

Starting a full-time bachelor’s degree at one of our core campuses

Studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study.

Degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning or work-based degrees, and students applying to ARU College are excluded.

There is no need to apply. You’ll automatically receive our International Undergraduate Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria.

BENEFIT:

Lower award—up to £5,000

You will receive £2,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each of the subsequent years subject to eligibility, up to a maximum of three further years of study. To receive £2,000, we assess the overall standard of the application, including entry qualifications.

To qualify for a further £1,000 in subsequent years, you must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year.

Higher award—up to £7,000

You will receive £4,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each of the subsequent years subject to eligibility, up to a maximum of three further years of study. To receive this award, your overall application standard must exceed minimum requirements, including entry qualifications.

To qualify for a further £1,000 in subsequent years, you must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year.
