UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING INTERNATIONAL SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

The University of Stirling provides the ideal environment for talented athletes to develop and flourish in their chosen sport, providing expert support and a comprehensive collection of world-class facilities set on our scenic campus. The International Sports Scholarship Programme is one of the largest high-performance sports programmes in the UK and has supported more than 700 student athletes since its inception in 1981, sending athletes to Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games.

ELIGIBILITY:

They offer sports scholarships to talented student athletes helping them to fulfil their potential.

They support students competing in our core sports, listed below, and other sports if at an international level*:

football

golf

swimming

tennis

triathlon

curling

*Other sports must feature in BUCS, Commonwealth, Olympic or Paralympic programmes.

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must hold – or be in the process of applying for – a place on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme at the University of Stirling. Students must also meet the sport-specific qualification criteria.

Download and complete an application form and return before the start of semester in September. Places are confirmed by post before the start of the semester each year.

DISCOVER LIFE SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP AT UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE

Applications are open for the Discover Life Sciences scholarship program at Dundee University. This opportunity is open to international fee paying students who wish to study at the university.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the Discover Life Sciences at Dundee scholarship, you must meet all the following criteria:

Level of study: You must be applying for full time Undergraduate on the eligible courses;

You must have International fee status as determined by the University of Dundee.

Have received an offer to study an eligible Undergraduate course in the School of Life Sciences. 

Begin studies in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Those who began their study through International College Dundee in 2023/24 would be eligible for University of Dundee scholarships as per the criteria and values set out in the 23/24 cycle. The scholarship would be applied on progression to your main University of Dundee degree.

£2,000 per year of study
