This is a full-tuition scholarship, renewable for 4 years. It is awarded to multiple full-time undergraduate students from and studying in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Recipients will have strong academic and extracurricular credentials.
Nominations are made by the admission committee and based on your application for admission to Tulane and the Tulane Scholarship Application, submitted in your Green Wave Portal. Contact Amanda Daly (adaly3@tulane.edu) with any questions.

The International Education Fee Scholarship (IEFS) was initially established in 1989 by a student referendum. Students who received the IEFS scholarship for Fall 2023 will have to reapply to be considered for the Spring 2024 scholarship. Current and newly admitted undergraduate international students are eligible to apply.
ELIGIBILITY:
You are an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at UT Austin during the award semester (Spring 2024).
You are on a non-immigrant visa and classified as an international student at UT Austin.
Are in good academic standing with the university.
Preference will be given to students who:
Have faced significant barriers in accessing education in their home country.
Demonstrate financial need.
BENEFIT:
This scholarship is a one-time $5,000 cash scholarship for the Spring 2024 semester.
