UNIVERSITY OF READINGS UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE SCHOOL OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT

LOCATION: United Kingdom

Applications are open for eligible students to join the School of the Built Environment undergraduate program in 2025. Conditional offer holders must show they have met the conditions of their offer, and therefore hold an unconditional place on the qualifying programme, by the final deadline (normally the first week of September).  

ELIGIBILITY:

The scholarships are available to applicants from any country and apply only to those who enrol directly onto Year 1 of their course in 2025. Students who have a previous degree or other higher education qualifications will not be eligible.

To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

an academic achievement of grades AAB at A level (or equivalent*)

an impressive application, which demonstrates clear commitment to study in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Reading

place the University of Reading as Firm choice with UCAS by the deadline for reply as stated on your UCAS Hub account

applicants must also satisfy the conditions of entry to undergraduate study at the University of Reading.

BSc Architecture

BSc Building Surveying

BSc Construction Management

BSc Construction Management and Surveying

BSc Quantity Surveying

BEng Architectural Engineering

MEng Architectural Engineering.

£1,000 scholarship for each year of study

STRATHCLYDE BUSINESS SCHOOL MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS – SEPTEMBER 2024

Application Deadline: 31 July 2024

LOCATION: Scotland

Strathclyde Business School is delighted to be able to offer a number of Masters Scholarships for September 2024. Candidates must be deemed International for Fee Status. The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in both their Scholarship Application and their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.  

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on an SBS MSc programme for the September 2024 intake and also be deemed International with regards to Fee Status.

Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

Online and blended learning programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st July 2024. 

Strathclyde Business School’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.

Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining their chosen programme and why they should be awarded this scholarship.  

Scholarship awardees will also be expected to engage with a variety of activities during their course of study, including:

Monitoring and contributing to future applicant forums and responding with information regarding the relevant course

Taking an active role in either the social committee or class rep committee

Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students

Assisting the school in the development and management of events

Retaining alumni communication post MSc completion

BENEFIT:

Varies by course fee – Between £9,000 and £12,000
