At the University of Nottingham, we believe excellence deserves reward. If you achieve AAA grades or your international equivalent, you will automatically be awarded a scholarship to be deducted from your first-year tuition fees.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must:

Be an international fee-paying student.

Be starting year one of a full-time undergraduate degree programme (RQF level 4) that is UK campus-based (excludes Bachelor programmes in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Medicine or Foundation Year) 

Be studying towards one of the following awards: BA, BSc/MSc, Beng/Meng, LLB, Barch, MMath, or MNutr

Have achieved AAA grades or international equivalent, assessed at the point of successful admission

Be self-funded, and not in receipt of any other university award or sponsorship by an external body.

The university reserves the right to award scholarships, and some exceptions may apply. See full terms and conditions.

Students progressing to the university from Kaplan (University of Nottingham International College or Digital Pathways) are not eligible for this scholarship scheme. However, students may be eligible for Kaplan-University of Nottingham-specific scholarships.

UEA VICE CHANCELLOR’S GLOBAL IMPACT AND LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (JANUARY START)

The Vice Chancellor’s Global Impact and Leadership Scholarship rewards outstanding international students with £10,000 towards their postgraduate tuition fees.

The application process asks you to clearly and concisely explain how studying here at UEA will help you to contribute to your chosen field of study and become a global leader.

ELIGIBILITY:

Type of Course: Postgraduate Taught

Course Start Date: 2027 January

Criteria: International Fees and Self-Funded

Country/Region: International, Asia, Africa, South America, Middle East, North America, Australia, EU, and Europe

This scholarship cannot be held in addition to any other UEA scholarship except for the International Early Payment Award. If you are eligible for another UEA scholarship of higher value, this will automatically replace this scholarship. Students receiving sponsorship covering full fees by an outside body or government organisation are not eligible for this scholarship. Government or educational loans that require repayment do not affect eligibility.

Applications to our January 2027 Vice Chancellor’s Global Impact and Leadership Scholarship are to be submitted in written format. They would like you to answer the following two questions.

Why did you select UEA and apply for your chosen course?

If you could change one thing in your country, what would it be, and how would that impact society?

Each answer should be limited to 200 words.

When applying for this scholarship, you must already be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible postgraduate taught course starting at UEA in January 2027. You should have achieved or be expecting to achieve at least a 2:1, or equivalent, in your undergraduate degree to be eligible. Your offer letter should state that you are an overseas fee-paying  student.

The deadline for application is 23:59 (BST) on Friday, 30th October 2026.
