Singapore and ICAO established the Developing Countries Training Programme (DCTP) in 2001. Sponsored by the Singapore Government and administered by the ICAO Technical Cooperation Bureau, the DCTP has been renewed for another three years (April 2022 to March 2025). It provides 330 Fellowships and 10 Scholarships to government officials from eligible developing ICAO Member States to attend specialised training programmes conducted by the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA).

ELIGIBILITY:

who have received endorsement/nomination by your Director-General of Civil Aviation or equivalent. Organisations should nominate only one applicant per course due to limited fellowships available.

Entry and visa requirements Please ensure that:

your passport has at least six months’ validity beyond the date of your intended stay.

BENEFIT:

The fellowships cover course fee, hotel accommodation and daily allowance.

PHD STUDENTSHIP: SUPER-OPTICAL RESOLUTION IMAGING USING A PHONON PROBE MICROSCOPE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM

This exciting opportunity is based within the Optics and Photonics Research Group at the Faculty of Engineering (FoE), University of Nottingham which conducts cutting-edge research into the development of imaging technology for biomedical applications.

ELIGIBILITY:

An enthusiastic, self-motivated, resourceful candidate with a 1st or 2:1 in Engineering or Physics. Programming and signal processing and fundamental skills to undertake the project however experience in optics, ultrasonics and or cell culture will be also beneficial. The project will take place at the University Park campus and will provide an excellent platform for career development, travel and publication.
