BREDA UNIVERSITY AS BACHELOR SCHOLARSHIP FOR TALENTED NON-EU/EEA STUDENTS 2025-2026

BUas Bachelor Scholarship has been designed to support non-EU/EEA students who will pay the full tuition fee for bachelor programmes at BUas.

ELIGIBILITY:

The student applying for BUas Bachelor Scholarship:

Possesses a non-EU/EEA nationality and will pay the high tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students;

Will be registered for his/her first year as a student at BUas for the entire academic year;

Meets the visa requirements for entering and residing in the Netherlands as a foreigner;

Will provide all documents requested by the Student Office as required for registration as a student of BUas (f.e. copy residence permit) in time;

Has not been awarded another scholarship that already covers all expenses;

Will only be awarded a scholarship of € 1,500 for the consecutive academic years when he/she has obtained a minimum of 48 ECTS during the preceding academic year;

Will only be awarded the scholarship for a period not exceeding the maximum length of the regular study programme, e.g. when a student has one year study delay the student will receive scholarship for a maximum of four years;

Will observe all regulations and values of BUas as laid down in – amongst others – Code of Conduct, Student Statute, Examination Regulations (OER) and study handbook

BENEFIT:

This scholarship consists of a € 3,000 reduction of the tuition fee in the first year of studying at BUas (paying the non-EU/ EEA tuition fee).

In consecutive academic years, these students can receive a € 1,500 reduction of the tuition fee. This is possible for a maximum number of years NOT exceeding the regular length of the study programme. The student has earned at least 48 EC’s in the previous academic year for continuation of the BUas Bachelor Scholarship.

UNIVERSITY OF LEICESTER CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

To honour Dame Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock PhD as the University of Leicester’s Chancellor, they are pleased to offer our Chancellor’s International Scholarship to all* international-fee-paying students who meet our entry requirements for an undergraduate taught degree. Dame Maggie was born in London to Nigerian parents and is an award-winning space scientist, broadcaster, and author.

ELIGIBILITY:

This scholarship is offered to international-fee-paying students applying for an undergraduate degree* (including STEM International Foundation and all ‘International Year 1’ courses) at the University of Leicester and applies to students starting their course in September 2025.

This scholarship rewards academic achievement, for all international qualifications equivalent to British A-levels.

You must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.

You must be starting a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course* (includes STEM International Foundation and all ‘International Year 1’ courses), commencing in September 2025.

The fee discount will be calculated on the basis of the standard tuition fee for each year of your course.

The scholarship will not apply for periods of industrial placement or overseas exchange, resit years or if you suspend your studies for any reason.

In accordance with scholarship guidelines, students are allowed to hold only one University of Leicester scholarship. If you are awarded more than one scholarship, you will only receive the higher value award.

If you currently have a conditional offer of a place at the University, you will still need to fulfil any conditions stated on your offer letter.

*Excluding Medicine and LLB Maitrise.

There is no need to apply for this scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically considered. If successful, you will be notified when you submit your final results.
