EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS (UNDERGRADUATE) AT UNIVERSITY OF LAVAL

Application Deadline: March 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Canada

Promote university studies in business administration and encourage students from sub-Saharan Africa and the Maghreb who stand out for their academic excellence and demonstrate financial need.

ELIGIBILITY:

Frequency: Offered every year to International students

Targeted study programs: Undergraduate, Administrative sciences and All bachelor’s degrees

Specific criteria also apply:

At the time of submitting the application file:
Have obtained or be in the process of obtaining a diploma from a secondary school (baccalaureate) in the Maghreb or sub-Saharan Africa
Have a minimum general average of 14/20 and 14/20 and more in mathematics
Be a national of a Maghreb or sub-Saharan African country

In addition to the eligibility criteria mentioned in this form, candidates must read the additional information on the FSA ULaval website.

To receive their scholarship, the winners must write a letter of thanks to their donor. If this condition is not met, their scholarship will not be awarded to them.

IFT FIRST TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS

IFT FIRST stands for Food Improved by Research, Science, and Technology. Taking place in Chicago, IL, from July 13-16, 2025, IFT FIRST brings together global experts to explore how science and innovation are transforming food systems. Through presentations, panels, and networking, you’ll learn about the latest trends, breakthroughs, and challenges shaping the future of food. For students, IFT FIRST is the premier opportunity to jumpstart your career.

ELIGIBILITY:

Travel stipends are open to all students, regardless of membership status.

Applicants must be graduate or undergraduate students pursuing a degree in food science or a related field. Certain scholarships may have specific eligibility as determined by the sponsor.

Applicants must not be receiving funding from another source.

Recipients will need to submit a written testimonial regarding their experience at IFT FIRST and a thank-you note to the sponsor.

Recipients will be required to submit a W-9 form for a U.S. domestic student and a W8BEN for students located outside of the U.S.
