UCL ACCESS OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

The purpose of the Access Opportunity Scholarship is to support those who, because of their immigration status, are not able to secure student loans for their higher education.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants should:

Hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree for 2026/27 intake and

Be asylum seekers, children of asylum seekers or unaccompanied asylum-seeking children who are seeking asylum in the UK or forced migrants who are based in the UK and have been granted a temporary form of leave as the result of an asylum application or human rights application (e.g. limited leave to remain, discretionary leave to remain, humanitarian
protection); and

Be unable to access student finance (tuition fee or maintenance loan) because of their immigration status.

The deadline for the Access Opportunity scholarship is Monday, 18 May 2026.

BENEFIT:

The scholarship will consist of tuition fees and an allowance of £13,762 pa (this is the 2025/26 rate; 2026/27 to be confirmed) for the normal duration of your programme at UCL. Please note the allowance may be reduced if your leave status has restrictions on what additional support you can receive. 

Annual renewal of the scholarship is subject to satisfactory academic progress.

FEDERATION UNIVERSITY 2026 FOUNDATION – FOUNDATION FOR GRADUATES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDIES BURSARIES

The Foundation of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies was established in 2005 by the Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies to support work in the early childhood field in Australia. The Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies (AGECS) has always had a philanthropic focus. With the proceeds from the sales of the Warrawong and Forest Hill properties, the Association established a philanthropic trust (The Foundation of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies) that distributes funds to projects associated with early childhood education and care.

ELIGIBILITY:

Domestic or international student

New/commencing or continuing student in 2026

Enrolled in a TAFE, undergraduate or postgraduate degree (excluding research degrees)

Enrolled in one of the following courses:

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education)

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary)

Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)

Applicants must be undertaking (or due to undertake) work placements in a regional area as part of their studies, with a preference for students with young children whose childcare needs would be impacted by these work placement requirements.
