MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is offered to international students undertaking undergraduate study at the University of Melbourne.

ELIGIBILITY:

Number of scholarships awarded: Approximately 1000

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia;

have completed secondary school outside Australia or a foundation program in Australia

have received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne;

not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program)

BENEFIT:

This scholarship provides either a:

$10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree

50 per cent fee remission for the three year duration of an undergraduate degree, or

100 per cent fee remission for the three year duration of an undergraduate degree

UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI STAMP UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

The Stamps Scholarship is UM’s most prestigious merit award available to students at the University of Miami. This scholarship is awarded to exceptional and academically accomplished high school seniors.

ELIGIBILITY:

Early Decision I and Early Action applicants are automatically considered when they apply for early admission to UM by submitting all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1.

Selected semi-finalist candidates for the Stamps Scholarship are asked to write a short response to a pre-determined essay prompt.

A Stamps Scholar must complete a full-time undergraduate program of study with no fewer than 12 credit hours during each of the fall and spring semesters for a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year. A minimum of a 3.0 GPA for the academic year must be maintained at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation at the end of the second semester of attendance. 

BENEFITS:

Stamps Scholars receive a merit award equivalent to the full cost of attendance for four years of undergraduate study. The award includes tuition and fees, on-campus housing, a meal plan, University health insurance, textbooks, a laptop allowance, and access to a $12,000 enrichment fund, which may be used toward study abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid internships, and other educational pursuits. (Enrichment fund expenses are subject to prior approval by the Office of the Provost.)
