TULANE UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FINANCIAL AID

Tulane offers variety of generous need- and merit-based scholarship opportunities for international students.  Up to $30,000 in need-based financial aid to international students who qualify and who have not already been awarded that amount or more in merit scholarships. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Students must reapply for need based aid every year. To apply, you must submit a CSS Profile and all necessary supporting documents. It is highly recommended you do so by February 15.

Global Scholarship:

Applicants in the top 20% academically (based on testing and GPA) of the applicant pool are eligible to be considered for the scholarship

It is suggested that you submit a complete Early Action (November 15) or Early Decision (November 1) application for admission

Nominations are made by the admission committee and based on your application for admission to Tulane and the Tulane Scholarship Application, submitted in your Green Wave Portal

Candidates will be invited to participate in a video interview with the international admission committee by March 31

Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Award:

It is awarded to multiple full-time undergraduate students from and studying in Sub-Saharan Africa. Recipients will have strong academic and extracurricular credentials. Nominations are made by the admission committee and based on your application for admission to Tulane and the Tulane Scholarship Application, submitted in your Green Wave Portal. BENEFIT:

Global Scholarship: This is a partial or full-tuition award that is renewable for 4 years (5 years for students in the 5-year Architecture program). Recipients of this award are international students with outstanding academic records.

Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Award: This is a partial or full-tuition award that is renewable for 4 years (5 years for students in the 5-year Architecture program).

FRANKLIN UNIVERSITY HONORS PROGRAM AWARD

The Franklin University Honors Program is for students with exceptional academic performance who have followed a rigorous secondary school curriculum.

ELIGIBILITY:

Qualifying Programs: All Bachelor programs, with participation in the Honors Program

Students with a GPA of at least 3.5 or the equivalent and evidence of a rigorous academic curriculum as well as exceptional academic performance. Recipients are selected following an interview with the Honors Program Executive Committee. Students must participate in the scholarship event (available virtually), which comprises participation in the Honors Society Learned Conversations, in addition to the selection interview and other activities for them to become familiar with the Honors program and with the academic and extracurricular experience at Franklin. Recipients will be expected to maintain eligibility for the Honors Program for every semester in which they receive the Honors Program Grant.

BENEFIT:

Amount of Award: two annual scholarships – $ 3,000 to $10,000
