AFRICA COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP AT UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE (SEPTEMBER 2024)

The University of Dundee is inviting eligible African students to apply for Afican Community Scholarship commencing on 16 September, 2024. The University is offering scholarships of £2,500 for the first year of study for applicants living in Africa. This is a one-off top-up scholarship to applicants who meet the following requirements.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for an award, you must:

Have been awarded one of the following scholarships:

Vice-Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, or

Global Excellence Scholarship.

Have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for September 2024, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course. Please see our Key Facts and Terms and Conditions documents below for exclusions.

Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.

Be currently residing in an African country as highlighted in the country list above

ASSOCIATION OF COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITIES(ACU): QUEEN ELIZABETH COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS(CYCLE 2)

The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS)  offer a unique opportunity to study a two-year Master’s degree in a low or middle-income Commonwealth country.

ELIGIBILITY:

Aimed at students who are committed to creating change in their communities, the scholarships are a life-changing opportunity to experience a new country and culture, to broaden horizons, and to build a global network that will last a lifetime.

For students wishing to study for a two-year master’s degree at an ACU member university in a low or middle-income country.

Each year there are two opportunities to apply for QECS – cycle 1 opens in November/December and cycle 2 opens in March/April. You only need to submit one application, but you are welcome to apply more than once if there is another country you are interested in studying in.
