The scholarship programme is aimed at encouraging hard work and academic excellence amongst Nigerian undergraduates and it is open to students who participated in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have  gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal university.

ELIGIBILITY:

The scholarship is for fresh UTME candidates with a score of at least 250 and have gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal University for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The following documents are required for upload  to apply for the 2023/2024 Stanbic IBTC University  Scholarship:

Recent Passport Photograph

Valid ID Card- NIN slip, voter’s card, birth certificate or international passport

2023 UTME Result with a minimum score  of 250 

Minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English Language) in the O’Level ( WAEC, NECO or GCE) with a valid Statement of Result or Certificate

JAMB or University Admission Letter

A scholarship fund worth N80M to initiative to support the dreams and aspirations of 200 Nigerian youths over a duration of four academic years.

MCGILL UNIVERSITY NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID FOR FUTURE UNDERGRADUATES

McGill University is committed to supporting the academic pursuits of qualified undergraduate students who require financial assistance. The University’s Entrance Bursary Program offers entrance bursaries to students from low to modest-income families who demonstrate financial need. Those eligible to apply include all: newly accepted, first-year, first-degree undergraduates, and newly accepted, first-year undergraduate direct entrants to professional programs in Medicine and Law (with prior degree)

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for the Entrance Bursary Program, applicants must:

enrol in a full-time degree program at the University

demonstrate financial need, including the intention to apply for government student aid and/or Indigenous Band Support Funding 

Students registered with the Student Accessibility & Achievement may be eligible for financial aid while pursuing a reduced course load.

Submit a CSS Financial Aid Profile if you are a:

Canadian (citizen or permanent residents) students living outside of Canada

U.S. students

International (non-US) students

BENEFIT:

Entrance bursaries range in value and award amounts are determined by:

the level of need demonstrated by the student and their family, relative to other applicants

the tuition fee rate charged based on the program of study and student residency (Quebec, rest of Canada, US, International)

While these awards are not automatically renewed in the second and subsequent years of study, students may continue to receive assistance through our In-Course Financial Aid Program.

Any student receiving this form of aid will be automatically approved to seek employment through the University’s Work Study Program upon application via Minerva.
