UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND DESTINATION AUSTRALIA SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS)

The Destination Australia scholarship is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It aligns with the National Strategy for International Education 2025. 

The scholarship’s objective is to:

attract and support study in regional Australia

grow and develop regional Australian tertiary education providers

offer students a high-quality learning experience.

ELIGIBILITY:

You’re eligible if you:

are an international student

hold a student visa for the scholarship’s duration

are a commencing student

are UQ alumni commencing a different program (for example, Master’s after completing a Bachelor’s degree)

have a full offer to study an eligible program delivered entirely at the UQ Gatton campus in 2024 (you don’t need to accept your full offer by the scholarship application deadline).

And you: will study full-time via Internal study mode at UQ’s Gatton campus for the scholarship’s duration

reside in a regional area of Australia for the scholarship’s duration as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure 2016 (Australian Bureau of Statistics)

AUD $15,000 per year

INTO STIRLING PROGRESSION SCHOLARSHIPS

LOCATION: Scotland

This scholarship is available to students who successfully progress from a qualifying pathway programme delivered by the INTO University of Stirling joint venture onto a University of Stirling postgraduate taught course.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission for an eligible full-time postgraduate taught course delivered at our Stirling campus.

You must be classed as an International student for tuition fee purposes.

You must have successfully completed a relevant INTO pathway programme at INTO University of Stirling. This excludes English-only courses, including pre-sessional language courses.

This scholarship cannot be combined with any other University of Stirling scholarship or award.

BENEFIT:

Up to £4,000

Students who progress with an overall score of 70% and above: £4,000 tuition fee waiver.

Students who progress with an overall score of 60-69%: £3,000 tuition fee waiver.

Students who progress with an overall score of 50-59%: £2,000 tuition fee waiver.

The fee waiver only applies to the first year of study at the University of Stirling.
