GOLDSMITHS, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON SANCTUARY SCHOLARSHIP (FORMERLY INTERNATIONAL RESPONSE SCHOLARSHIP)

Application for the Sanctuary Scholarship (formerly the International Response Scholarship) is open. Eligible and exceptional students from around the world are encouraged to apply

ELIGIBILITY:

You must meet the general eligibility criteria and regulations. You must also:

Have refugee status in the UK, or have an active application for asylum in the UK (you will be required to provide documentation to demonstrate your status). Supporting documents should be uploaded to your MyGoldsmiths account.

Be holding an offer of study on an undergraduate or taught postgraduate degree at Goldsmiths.

Be taught in person (online degrees are not eligible).

You must be eligible to study in the UK. If you are on immigration bail, this must not have a condition prohibiting you from studying.

Any scholarship applications from Ukrainian applicants seeking refuge in the UK under the special arrangement set by the Home Office will be considered for this scholarship.

Applications will open on 16 February 2026 and close on 25 May 2026 at midnight BST (British Summer Time).

If you wish to live in Goldsmiths accommodation, you must make a separate application. Find out more about our accommodation, and make your application. Please include in the notes section that you are applying for the International Response Scholarship.

BENEFIT:

Successful applicants will receive a £8,825 allowance, a full tuition fee waiver for each year of study and an accommodation fee for a single study bedroom in Goldsmiths halls of residence (up to £200 per week)

Number available: Up to 4 (two for undergraduate students; two for postgraduate taught students)

IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON ADVISORY BOARD POSTGRADUATE TAUGHT SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship is intended to support individuals who show a commitment to leadership, innovation, and making a positive contribution to their industry or community. Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

ELIGIBILITY:

This scholarship is open to self-funded students applying to the Full-Time MBA programme at Imperial College Business School.

Available to applicants of the Full-Time MBA programme at Imperial College Business School.

Applicants must demonstrate:

Strong academic performance and/or potential, shown through previous qualifications and achievements

Financial need, where the cost of tuition would otherwise prevent enrollment in the programme

Professional achievement, such as career progression, leadership experience, or impact in their field

A competitive GMAT or GRE score, reflecting a well-balanced performance across sections

Professional references that support the applicant’s suitability for the MBA and the scholarship

They also consider the overall strength of your MBA application, including your personal statement, interview performance, and how your experience aligns with the values of Imperial College Business School.

Scholarship decisions will be communicated by May, after all submissions from rounds one and two have been reviewed.
