OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT FRESHMEN SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Oklahoma State University offers  International Achievement Freshmen scholarship in varying amounts to qualified international undergraduate students.

ELIGIBILITY:

International students are automatically considered for scholarships by submitting a completed application for admission. No additional application for scholarship is required.

International students qualify for assured admission if they meet the following criteria:

High School GPA 3.0+ (based on a 4.0 scale)

AND

English language proficiency exam scores (one of the following):

iBT TOEFL Internet-Based Score 61+ 

IELTS Academic Score 5.5+ 

PTE Academic Score 46+ 

iTEP Academic Score 3.5+ 

Duolingo English Test Score 95+ 

Note: OSU will only accept the Duolingo English Test (DET) results from students beginning Fall 2024

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of New Brunswick Saint John is a multi-disciplinary research group with many opportunities for collaborative work. They are looking for motivated students for MSc and PhD positions in multiple research areas with flexibility to fit the candidate’s interests:

Ecophysiology of fishes inhabiting naturally acidic lakes

Genetic basis of salinity tolerance in estuarine fishes

Mechanisms of pollution adaptation in coastal and inland fishes

Developmental physiology of euryhaline fishes

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for the 2024 University of New Brunswick Scholarship, you must:

Be applying for Master’s or PhD degree

Have a bachelor’s in a related field

Meet the entry and admission requirements of the university

Meet the English Language requirements of the University of New Brunswick

Zimmer Labs are looking for motivated students for MSc and PhD positions in multiple research areas with flexibility to fit the candidate’s interests:

Ecophysiology of fishes inhabiting naturally acidic lakes

Genetic basis of salinity tolerance in estuarine fishes

Mechanisms of pollution adaptation in coastal and inland fishes

Developmental physiology of euryhaline fishes

Prior experience working with fish or other aquatic organisms would be considered an asset but is not required.

Fully-funded stipends start at $23.5k CAD per year for MSc students and $25k CAD per year for PhD students, before tuitions and fees. Flexible start dates of January, May, or September 2025.
