UCL GLOBAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: 5pm BST, Monday 27 April 2026

LOCATION: England

The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from low-income backgrounds to pursue full-time undergraduate degree studies at UCL.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates can be from any country outside the UK but must fulfill all of the following criteria:

be eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee rate;

come from a low-income background*;

AND have submitted an admission application for a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL in 2026/27.

For details on how UCL defines household income, please refer to our essential information page. While UCL generally considers “low income” as £42,875 or less, this is intended as a guide. We will still consider your scholarship application if your household income exceeds this amount.

The scholarship is valid for the standard duration of the undergraduate programme.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you don’t need an offer of admission, but you must have your fee status confirmed by UCL Admissions. This can happen shortly after applying or just before an offer is made. If you can’t access the application form, it may be because UCL hasn’t confirmed your admission yet. Please ensure you apply for admission well before the scholarship deadline.
