BOUSTANY CAMBRIDGE PEMBROKE SCHOLARSHIP IN PHILOSOPHY

LOCATION: England

The College works with the Trust, the Boustany Foundation and the Institute of Astronomy to offer the Boustany Scholarship in Astronomy, which is awarded to a PhD applicant in Astronomy once in every three years, and with the Trust and the Boustany Foundation to offer the Boustany Cambridge Pembroke Scholarship in Philosophy, which is also awarded once every three years.

ELIGIBILITY:

This scholarship is only tenable at Pembroke College, and is offered every three years to a PhD applicant in Philosophy

Boustany Scholars will become members of Pembroke College (applicants are not required to specify Pembroke on their admissions application, but must be willing to transfer)

Scholars are required to spend a 2-month internship at the Boustany Foundation

No separate application is required for this scholarship, only the application to the University of Cambridge for admission, which must be submitted by the funding deadline specific to your course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)

HENLEY BUSINESS SCHOOL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Henley is committed to supporting high-potential students and has a global scholarship fund of over £750,000 to support candidates for 2025 entry. Applications for 2025 now open

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to both home and international students enrolled on any qualifying course.

Shortlisting and selection are based on academic merit and the candidate’s potential as demonstrated in the application form. Applications will be reviewed by a member of the University of Reading Admissions Office and/or representatives from Henley Business School.

Henley will review and consider all applications for a scholarship.

You will be notified by email if your application is accepted for a scholarship. We aim to respond to those who have been awarded a scholarship within 4 weeks of receiving your offer to study – this may fluctuate depending on the point in the application cycle.

Only successful scholarship awardees will be notified.

If offered a scholarship, it must be accepted within 4 weeks of the scholarship offer date. After this deadline, scholarship offers may be withdrawn and reallocated.

Unclaimed scholarships funds will be reallocated, meaning that offer holders who did not receive a scholarship initially will be automatically reconsidered. So, if you did not receive a scholarship at the point of application, you are still eligible to receive a scholarship and will be notified automatically if you are subsequently awarded funds.

BENEFIT:

Home students: Henley Business School Excellence Scholars will be awarded £2,500. In exceptional cases, a candidate may be selected for a Dean’s List award and allocated up to £5,000.

International students: Henley Business School Excellence Scholars will typically be awarded between £3,000-£5,000 as a tuition fee waiver. Outstanding candidates selected for the Dean’s List will be allocated up to £10,000.
